Unseen America

When most people around the world think of the United States, iconic images of New York City, Los Angeles, and Washington, D.C., come to mind. Movies and television have filled the imagination of most foreigners with the Empire State building and the Hollywood sign, but there is much more to this vast and diverse country. Though it is amongst the most beautiful and interesting parts of the country, the American southwest is underrepresented in the minds of many outside and even inside the U.S.

About the Project

This exhibition is meant to expose people around the world to the less-known wonders of the U.S., the landscape and culture of the southwest. The paysage is breath-taking and unique, and the culture is sharply different from what is considered typically American by most. Through this exhibition, I hope to pique the interest and capture the hearts of the viewers, so that one day they may choose to visit the beautiful place where I grew up.
